Harry Gregson-Williams, born on 13 December 1961, is an acclaimed English composer, conductor, orchestrator, and record producer. He is best known for his music in various video games, films, and television shows. Among his notable works are the scores for the Metal Gear series, the films Spy Game, Phone Booth, and Man on Fire. He also contributed to the soundtracks of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and its sequel, Prince Caspian, as well as acclaimed movies like X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Gladiator II.
Harry’s musical journey began early in life. At just seven, he received a musical scholarship to St John’s College School in Cambridge, where he was a child chorister. He later attended Stowe School and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with renowned directors such as Ridley Scott and Tony Scott, showcasing his versatility and talent. As the older brother of composer Rupert Gregson-Williams, Harry continues to influence the world of music in film and beyond.
