Robert Lucas Pearsall was an English composer of vocal music, including a version of In dulci jubilo still heard today.
This version is arranged by Mike Oldfield, following most of Pearsall’s work. This version features most of the instruments played by Oldfield himself, as you can see in the video. The only instruments he doesn’t play are the snare drum and two recorders and kortholt, similar to a bassoon, which are played by Leslie Penning.
