Richard Wagner was a German composer born in 1813 in Leipzig. He is best known for his operas, which are dramatic musical works that tell stories through music and singing. Wagner’s most famous operas include “The Ring Cycle,” “The Flying Dutchman,” and “Tristan und Isolde.” His music is known for its rich harmonies and emotional depth, which influenced many composers who followed him.
