Leroy Anderson was an American composer known for his light orchestral music. He was born on June 29, 1908, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Anderson began his musical journey studying at Harvard University, where he earned a degree in music. He became famous for his catchy melodies and clever use of instruments.
