The Planets, is a seven-movement orchestral suite by the English composer Gustav Theodore Holst (1874–1934, written between 1914 and 1917. Each movement of the suite is named after a planet of the Solar System and its astrological character.
The suite is supplemented here by pieces about Pluto and the Earth.
