This Week on Music of the Day (26 July – 1 August)

One of the joys of creating Music of the Day is the sheer variety of music each week brings.

This week we’re travelling from the Baroque brilliance of Johann Sebastian Bach through the Romantic worlds of Robert Schumann and Franz Liszt, discovering the distinctive voice of Finnish composer Einojuhani Rautavaara, alongside music from living composers including Gilad Hochman and Julia Tsenova.

Whether you’re discovering someone completely new or revisiting an old favourite, there’s something worth listening to every day.
